Dinghy-Racing.com.
At long last dinghy racing journalism is moving into the 21st century.
Now, as well as reading about the news, reviews and stories in the traditional sailing magazines, you can now listen to them on line in the form of a podcast.
Coming very soon will be photo enhanced podcasting, then for the very largest events, video podcasting.
Just follow the links on the left hand side to the podcast you wish to listen to.
The podcasts will be covered by three broad headings;
Events:
Bearfacemedia hope to cover many of the main dinghy events throughout the year. If you wish to have an event covered, then please contact me via the website to make arrangements for a visit to your sailing club.
Interviews:
It is intended to include a range of interviews with key people from the sport of dinghy racing. This will not just be the competitors, but also the innovators and influencers. Already scheduled are interviews with Olympic Medallist and boat builder, Luca Devoti, then the people behind top mast builders Superspars will be speaking about developments in rigs.
Hitting the Corners:
In recent years, sailing journalism has lost much of its voice as magazines seek to protect the revenue streams that are fed by the big advertising budgets. Hitting the Corners aims to be an informed, yet critical voice, speaking about what is happening in our sport. Be it a good news story, or rumours that are causing concern, Hitting the Corners wants to know. From the regular weekend series at a small club, to the biggest of the international events, Bearfacemedia will be watching and listening for those stories that might otherwise not get told.
